Henry Griffith Utley, beloved husband and father passed away on May 29, 2022, surrounded by his wife, Elaine, and children: Letitia (Richard) Alfonsi, Cyrus (Edith) Utley, Moriah (Michael) Brown and Eliza (Lars) Furtwaengler. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Peter, Rosemary and Vivian Alfonsi, Stella and Griffith Utley, Elizabeth and Eleanor Brown, and Joni, Oliver and Luke Furtwaengler. Dr. Utley graduated with an M.D. PhD from Duke University and practiced for 25 years as an eye surgeon in Athens. He was blessed with a quick witty humor and loved his many cats. He was a member of St. Stephens Anglican Catholic Church. He relished watching his children play tennis, volleyball and basketball as they grew and was so proud of the lovely people they became as adults. He loved God and his family. He will be sorely missed.

Memorial Services will be on Saturday Jun 11 th at 2pm at St. Stephens Anglican Catholic Church.
