Hull, GA - Melvin "Drew" Dalton, 26, died April 26, 2011.
Born in Athens, he was the son of Kenneth D. and Linda R. Faulkner Dalton of Hull.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and Charles Adams and Melvin Dalton and great grandparents, George and Doris Dalton.
Drew was a 2003 graduate of Madison County High School and was employed with Industrial Mechanical Inc. He loved riding his new Harley Softail Cross Bone Edition with Knucklehead package, and was a new member of Heaven's Angels Christian Group, GA Chapter.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his sister, Katie B. Dalton, grandmother, Jelene Dalton Tanksley and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Revs. Dennis Kesler and Rodney Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Lester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Self, Jarrett Brown, Josh Barnett, Lance Benton, Adam Ivie and Daniel Cooper.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Joseph M. Still Burn Centers, Inc, 3675 J. Dewey Gray Circle, Suite 300, Augusta, GA 30909 in memory of Drew Dalton.
