Doyle T. Brittain, Jr., 41, died January 10, 2011.
A native of Durham, NC, he was a son of June McQuiney and Doyle Thomas Brittain, Sr., of Athens. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn June Brittain.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Russell Repetske officiating. Interment will be in Evergeen Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a daughter, Emily Lynn Brittain; sister, Cindy Brittain Parrish and husband, Chris; brother, Paul Gregory Brittain; nephew, Colton Hunter Parrish.
Pallbearers will be Jon Nunn, Stan Lee, Ben Wilcox, Jeremy Field, Dick Field and Rev. Tom Davis.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
