Dorothy "Dot" Mae Self

Dorothy Mae Self, 70, wife of Burney Wayne Self, died Monday, January 10. 2022 at her residence. Born in Dublin, GA she was the daughter of the late Dolphus Edward Streetman and Katie Mae Fowler Streetman. Dot had worked as a store clerk at T’s Corner and was a member of Rays United Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband Wayne include three children: Michelle Johnson, Patrick (Mary) Self and Jeffery Self; siblings: Francine Smith, Roger (Barbara) Streetman, Roy (Sara) Streetman, Lee (Lynn) Streetman and Ricky (Robin) Streetman; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. Interment will follow at Ross Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the funeral home.
