Winterville - Dorothy Nell Williams, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2005.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of Mamie Treadwell Carter of Arnoldsville and the late Clarence Lee ìTootî Carter. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one brother, Clarence Alburn Carter. She was a homemaker and attended Grove Chapel Church.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005, in the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home EAST with Revs. Chuck Tatum and George Ormsbee officiating. Interment will be in the Arnoldsville Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Charles W. Williams; children, Renee Williams, Tammy Paul, Wayne Williams, Rodney Williams, Sergeant First Class, Greg Williams and Sean Williams; one sister, Mary Tiller; 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 through 9 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home EAST is in charge of arrangements.
