Winterville - Dorothy L. Skinner Webb, 66, died Sunday May 13, 2007.
Mrs. Webb was a native of Lanier County, GA but had lived in Athens for the past 16 years. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church, Faith Sunday School Class, Golden Highlights, and W.M.S. Mrs. Webb was also a member of Beaver Dam Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents John Paxton Skinner and Mary Ackridge Skinner Hancock and one brother.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, William Murray Webb of Winterville; two daughters and son-in-laws, Phyllis and Bill Hall of Hahira, GA, and Doris and Danny Gaskins of Tifton, GA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 14, 2007, 7:00 p.m. at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Reverends Randy Crowe and John Hendley officiating. Funeral Services will also be held Thursday, May 17, 2007 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Boone & Lipsey Funeral Home, Hwy 41 South, Adel, GA. Reverends Randy Crowe and John Hendley officiating. Interment will be in New Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in Ray City, GA.
Memorials may be made to Upward Program of Hull Baptist Church.
Lord & Stephens EAST has charge of arrangements.
