Dorothy Hazel (Barnett) Sims

Mrs. Hazel Sims, 81 of Arnoldsville passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. Mrs. Sims was born on May 4, 1932 to Herschel and Doris Barnett in Watkinsville, GA. She was retired from the University of Georgia having worked in the registration office, and was a member of Bishop Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well her step-mother Hazel Barnett and daughter Debbie Thomas. She is survived by her husband Marvin Sims; children Janice Sims, Larry Sims, Terry Sims, and Jason Thomas; six grandchildren Matt, Nick, Dean, Deanna, Randy and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Farmington Cemetery on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11 AM.
