Dorothy (House) Payne

Dorothy Lunell Payne, 82, died November 30, 2011.
Born in Statham, GA, Mrs. Payne lived most of her life in Clarke County. She was a daughter of the late Charles Richard and Arthur Mae Holliday House and the widow of Charles Milton Payne. She retired from Angus Manufacturing and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Bogart First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Payne and Jeff (Cyndi) Payne, all of Bogart; two sisters, Edna Chancey of Florida and Charlene Barton of Statham; James William House of Bogart; four grandchildren, Benji Payne, Jamie Payne, Wesley Payne and Charlie Payne; four great grandchildren, Rebecca Payne, Tyler Payne, Justin Payne and Lexie Payne.
Pallbearers will be Billy McElhannon, Benji Payne, Charlie Payne, Jason Warmack, Wesley Payne, Jamie Payne, Brad Reid and Chris Brady.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
