Dorothy Jean (Miller) Marshall

Dorothy Jean Marshall, 82, wife of Clete Marshall, died on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Born in Center, GA she was the daughter of the late James Robert Miller and Ella Louise Ford.  She was also preceded in death by two daughters; Rita Caldwell and Connie McEver and six brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker and member of Archer Grove Holiness Church.  Survivors in addition to her husband include three children: Tammy (Wade) Peters of Monroe, Lisa (Michael) Edwards of Athens and Clete (Gillian) Marshall, Jr. of Oconee County; sisters: Joanne Cotton and Carol Rylee and ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 2PM at Archer Grove Holiness Church with Pastor Stephen Coomes officiating. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the funeral home.
