Dorothy "Dot" (Escoe) Manders

Dorothy “Dot” Manders, 79, wife of Harold Manders, died on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Born in the Meadow Community of Madison County, Dot was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Escoe and Omie Mae Burdette Escoe and sister to the late Shirley Morgan and Jack Escoe. Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons: Danny (Windy) Manders and Dennis Manders; siblings: Janice Richardson, Sammy Escoe, and Larry Escoe and three grandsons: Jackson, Dylan and Jacob Manders. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 12PM at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Oconee Chapel, 2375 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Athens Area Humane Society.
