Dorothy Louise (Warr) Walker

Dorothy Louise Warr Walker, 89 of Jefferson, passed away August 19, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Tommie W. Warr and Mamie Sockwell Warr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence O. Walker; son, Larry O. Walker, Jr. and brother, Tommie W. Warr, Jr.

Mrs. Walker was an active member of College Park Baptist Church, where she was a primary Sunday school teacher for over twenty years and also participated in the adult choir. Mrs. Walker was a member of Athens First Baptist Church and was a Patient Sitter.

Memorial services will be Saturday August 25, 2018 at 2:00pm at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Dr. Paul Baxley and Dr. J.W. Wallis officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home for one hour before and after the service.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Larry) Moon of Jefferson, GA; sons, David (Carol) Walker of Canton, GA and R. Benjamin (Diane) Walker of Monroe; nephew, Ray Warr of Hampton, GA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
