Hull - Dorothy Lee Kent, 74, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 9, 2006.
A native of Palatka, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Estelle Carpine Crosby and the widow of Olan Kent. She retired from Belks Department Store, was a former member and pianist at Whitehall Baptist Church and now attended with membership at Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST with Revs. Buford Lockman and Elmer Butler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her children, Mitzi (Chris) Smith of Winterville, Steve Kent of Tampa Florida, and Richard Kent of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 thru 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Center for Diabetes.
