Dorothy M. Griffeth

Dorothy Florence Griffeth, 83, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Born in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Guy W. Mallory and Minnie Mason Mallory. She was also preceded in death by her children: Penny Eaton and Dennis Griffeth. Mrs. Griffeth had worked as an operator for Southern Bell and attended High Shoals Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Sam Griffeth of Good Hope; brothers: Dewey Mallory and Isaac Mallory; daughter in law: Teri Griffeth grandchildren: Samuel (Carrie) Eaton, Scott Eaton, Siera Eaton, Brandon Griffeth, Brandi Griffeth; four great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held, Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2PM at Oconee Memorial Park with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating.
