Dorothy (Cunningham) Busbin

Dorothy Busbin, 90, died April 12, 2012.
A native of Oglethorpe County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late James W. and Hayes "Lillie Mae" Cunningham and the widow of Edgar David "Pete" Busbin. She was preceded in death by a son, Edgar Wylie Busbin; two sisters, Lucille C. Puckett and Maggie Kilgore; and three brothers, Walter Puckett, Hoyt Puckett, and Simon Puckett.
Mrs. Busbin was employed for over fifteen years with the Athens Community Council on Aging and was a member of Winterville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Survivors include four children, Patsy Busbin (Gene) Harden, of Maxeys; Gladys Busbin (Jimmy) Smith, of Winterville; Brenda Busbin (Ronald) Payton, of Gray; and Frank Busbin, of Maxeys; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
