Dorothy (Cunningham) Allen

Dorothy Busbin, 90, died April 12, 2012.
A native of Oglethorpe County, GA, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Hayes "Lillie Mae" Cunningham and the widow of Edgar David "Pete" Busbin. She was preceded in death by a son, Edgar Wylie Busbin; two sisters, Lucille C. Puckett and Maggie Kilgore; and three brothers, Walter Puckett, Hoyt Puckett, Simon Puckett. Mrs. Busbin was employed for over fifteen years with the Athens Community Council on Aging and was a member of Winterville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Survivors include four children, Patsy Busbin (Gene) Harden of Maxeys, Gladys Busbin (Jimmy) Smith of Winterville, Brenda Busbin (Ronald) Payton of Gray and Frank Busbin of Maxeys; eight grandchilhdren; eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
