Doris Susan (Fortson) Strickland

September 22, 1954 — August 12, 2018

Doris Fortson Strickland, 63 of Nicholson, passed away August 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late, Darwin & Idell Fortson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Strickland. Mrs. Strickland was of Baptist faith and was retired from UGA as an office manager in the AG Economics department.
Funeral services are Wednesday August 15, 2018 3:00pm at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel with Mr. Joe Davis officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home Wednesday August 15, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The interment will be in Colbert cemetery.
Survivors include: fiancé, Kurt Reifeis; sisters, Rachel Kelley and Charlotte (Paul) Bond; several nieces and nephews.
