Doris Kay Huff

Doris Kay Huff, 91, passed away on July 12, 2017. She passed peacefully surrounded by those she loved most dearly.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ansel Calhoun Kay Sr. and Lois Hughes Kay. Mrs. Huff had lived in Athens for the last 54 years and was retired from the Social Security Administration. She was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jack Thomas Huff.
Survivors include her children Gerald Thomas Huff, Sr. (Cindy), Jack Albert Huff (Cheryl), Jill Huff Monette (Bob), and Jayne Huff Henson (Doug), Eight Grandsons, One Granddaughter, Ten Great Grandchildren, and One Great-Great Granddaughter.
The family would like to thank the caring Staff of Arbor Terrace, Gentiva Hospice and Christopher's Bridge for their support and excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army, 484 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens, Georgia 30606 or the Charity of one's choice.
