Watkinsville - Doris Jeanette Conley, 85, died March 8, 2006.
Born in Helena, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Vera Strange Wilson, and the widow of Thomas R. Conley, Sr. She was retired from the Civil Service and a member of Antioch Christian Church. Mrs. Conley was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 10, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Oconee Chapel, with Revs. Derek Anglin and Ryan Anglin officiating. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include children, Chip Conley of Athens, Greg Conley (Lavinia) of Watkinsville, Lora Anglin (David) of Watkinsville, and Lisa VanderKooi of Watkinsville; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nephew, Jerry Van Pelt of Dallas, TX.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
