Doris Ruth Cleghorn

Doris Ruth Cleghorn, 76, died December 7, 2015. A native of Athens, she was the widow of Paul Leon Cleghorn, Sr. and was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Baxter Griffeth, father, A.B. Griffeth, brother, Waymon Griffeth and sister, Betty Williams. Mrs. Cleghorn was retired as rental manager at A.B. Griffeth & Sons following 30 years of service.Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Cleghorn Allen and Diane Cleghorn Salum of Watkinsville; son, Paul Cleghorn, Jr. of Athens; sister, Pat Powell; brother, James Griffeth; sister in law, Linda Tumlin; grandchildren, Christina (Ross) Wise, Jessica Salum, Michela (Will) Rineair and Kenston Salum; great grandchildren, Taylor, Briana Ruth and Rush and expecting 2 great grandchildren, the Rineair twins, to arrive in April, 2016.Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
