Doris Bell

Doris Rains Bell, 81, died June 8, 2016.

Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late Otis Chastain and Madge Gallman. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas H. Rains and Nelms L. Bell.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include one son, Dennis H. Rains and daughter-in-law, Beverly, of Flower Mound, Texas; two granddaughters, Anna and Sarah Rains, both of Flower Mound, Texas.

The family requests no flowers, please. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 720 Danielsville Road, Athens, GA 30601, or to the charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
