Donald Pilson

Donald Lindman Pilson, 56, died December 22, 2016.

A native of Rome, GA, he was a son of the late William G. and Ann Camp Pilson.

He held degrees from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Berry College and the University of Georgia. He was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Tuckston United Methodist Church with Dr. James Mooneyhan and Rev. Lee McNeil officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-six years, Elizabeth; two daughters, Katie and Holly; brother, Cliff (Laurie) Pilson of Marietta; mother-in-law, Betty Lanier of Crawford; sister-in-law, Kathryn (John) Raley of Gibson, GA; nieces and nephews, Andrew Pilson, Phillip Pilson, Julia Pilson, Kara Raley, Anna Raley and Thomas Raley.

Don was the most tender hearted man there ever was. He adored his family, and his two daughters were his absolute joy. His patience was legendary, and his kindness knew no bounds. He loved his friends deeply and thought the world of all of them.
