Watkinsville - Donald Wade Lawhorn, 71, died Monday, May 31, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born in Alexander City, Alabama, he was the son of the late Ruben A. and Mary Louise Lawhorn. He retried from the US Environmental Protection Agency as a Diving Officer. He served his county in the US Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Jo-Anne Dalton Lawhorn; children: Donna Lawhorn, Wade Lawhorn, Kevin (Melanie) Lawhorn; brother: Wayne Lawhorn and three grandchildren.
A service will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11AM at St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
