Athens - Donald Hayward Kent, 77, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
Born in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Ira and Ruby Kent.
He was the owner and operator of Kent's Heating & Refrigeration.
Survivors include his daughters, Decia (Dennis) Alewine, of Athens, and Sandy (Dwayne) Hamilton, of Nicholson; brother, Howard Kent, of Hull; sisters, Linda Thompson, of Sylvester, and Shirley Simon, of Moultrie; grandchildren, Paul (Gail) Alewine, Kevin Alewine, Russell Croft, and Nathan Croft; and great-grandchildren, Adeline Alewine and Aidan Williams.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home West, Bogart, is in charge of arrangements.
