Bogart - Donald Ray Cheatham, 55, died Sunday, July 31, 2011.
A native of Athens , he was the son of the late Ema T. and Mae Bell Warren Cheatham. He was the owner and operator of Ray's Automotive. Donald really enjoyed driving race cars as well as painting and working on them.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law: Sid and Tina Cheatham of Watkinsville; sister: Carolyn McGalliard of Bogart and four grandchildren: Zach, Dylan, Sammy and Abbie Cheatham.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Larry Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, August 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
