Donald Lee Bingham

Donald Lee Bingham, 84, husband of the late Ruby Drye Bingham, died Thursday, November 21, 2013.
A native of Spencer, NC, he was the son of the late Russell Harrison and Mary Efird Bingham. Mr. Bingham was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and Retired from the Norfolk Southern Railway (formerly Southern Railway) of the Locomotive Control Center in Atlanta, GA.
Survivors include his daughter: Joan Bingham (Chris) Clark of Athens; son: John Daniel "Danny" (Carol Becker) Bingham of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren: Kevin (Michelle) Clark, Paul (Amy) Clark, Megan Bingham, Alicia Bryson; great grandchildren: Abigail, Ethan, Mary Kate and Charlotte Clark.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert H. Bohler, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 380 Alps Road, Athens, GA 30606.
