Athens - Dolores Norris Lance, 74, of Athens, passed away June 27, 2006.
A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Sara Sue Dawson Norris and was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Frances Norris.
Survivors include her husband, James M. Lance; son and daughter in law, James M., Jr. and Marisol Lance; two grandchildren, James M. Lance, III and Katherine Ann Lance; sister, Dorothy Sue Anglin; sister in law and husband, Hilda Lance Bowman and William and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from business college, Dolores joined the Citizens and Southern National Bank and retired after 36 years. She was a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 30, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Dr. Stewart B. Simms, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friend at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Beech Haven Baptist Church, 2390 West Broad Street, Athens, GA 30606.
