Athens - Diane R. Seawright, 54, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of Claudio and Louise Roig both of Athens. She was a member of the Church of Christ; had worked for Dalton Carpet One and Carpets Unlimited as an Interior Designer and was a Master Gardner through the State Botanical Gardens.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughters: Jennifer L. Helms of Woodstock, GA, Traci Helms of Athens; son: Jacob D. Seawright of Athens; brothers: Bruce E Roig of New York, Doug E. Roig of Athens and two granddaughters, Tara Jones, Anel Aylah Seawright
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2008 at 7:30 PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Attention: Director of Development, 450 South Milledge Avenue, Athens, Georgia 30605.
