Watkinsville - Wayne Pugh, 62, died Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late George H. "Charlie" and Hazel Pugh. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Kenneth Pugh. Wayne was a member of Athens Christian Church and of the Mental Health Association of Northeast Georgia.
He is survived by his sister in law, Francine Pugh Brown of Hull, niece, Wendy Burns of Watkinsville and nephew, Kelly Pugh of Danielsville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Marv Westfall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park .
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Athens Christian Church, 1200 Forrest Heights Drive , Athens , GA 30606 .
