Danielsville - Dennis E. Pedersen Sr. passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010.
A native of Bryson City, N.C., he was the son of the late Lester Einar and Margaret Ensley Pedersen. He was retired from GMAC and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home, Bryson City, N.C., with visitation from 1 p.m. ñ 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Survivors include his wife, Dyanne Shook Pedersen; children, Dennis E. Pedersen Jr. and Leigh Anne (Gregg) Pruitt; sister, Beth Pedersen; brother, David (Beth) Pedersen; and five grandchildren.
The family is receiving friends Thursday from 7 ñ 9 p.m. at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swain County High, Class of 1965, Scholarship Fund, 1415 Fontana Road, Bryson City, N.C.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
