Dennis Scott Griffeth, 49, died Saturday, July 13, 2013.
A native of Athens, he was the son of Thomas "Sam" and Dorothy Mallory Griffeth. He was preceded in death by his sister Pennie Eaton. Dennis was currently employed by Medike as an engineer and was formerly employed for Ameripride for 20 years. He was a member of High Shoals United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his children: Brandon Griffeth, Brandi Griffeth; life partner: Terri Griffeth; nephews: Samuel Eaton and Scott Eaton and niece, Siera Eaton.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11AM at Oconee Memorial Park with Revs. Joe Gunby and Doug Bower officiating.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
