Delton Gowder Moody

Hugh Delton Gowder Moody loved his couch. Almost as much as he loved his wife, Vicky, and children, D.G. and Maria. He also loved a good deal and at $1.10/word he would want to say Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis just to make sure he was getting his money's worth. He was a local metal artist, video game enthusiast and enjoyed lively political debates with his television. On May 25th, 2016 at 4:55 pm Del Moody passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA. Del had been battling a severe blood infection and organ failure since Nov. 16 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF), PO Box 631, Watkinsville, GA 30677 or www.OCAF.com. A remembrance gathering will be held at Ocaf June 11th 6-8pm.
