Delle Watson Tedder, formerly of Albany, GA went to be with her Lord on October 6, 2012 at Quiet Oaks Healthcare in Crawford.
She was born on October 18, 1924 in Cook County, GA to Robert Lee and Sallie Owens Watson. Mrs. Tedder was a child of the Great Depression, a World War II bride, a lifelong homemaker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Albany. She was the widow of Robert Lamar (Bob) Tedder also of Albany.
Mrs. Tedder was a source of great joy to her family and their lives are buoyed by her Godly legacy. Survivors include her children, Darlene Adams and her husband Herbert of Watkinsville, Dianne Tedder of Cumming, Robert "Bobby" Tedder and his wife Rhonda of Albany, and Lisa Johnson of Leesburg; grandchildren, Dina Padgett of Watkinsville, Aimee Ezell of Waynesboro, NC, Tony Tedder of Newnan, Trevor Johnson and Leah Delle Johnson, Leah York of Leesburg and eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Gary Watson and Robert Watson of Ocala, FL and Jim Watson of Holly Ridge, NC.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Quiet Oaks Healthcare, caretakers Carletta Brown and Evelyn Broun.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 at the funeral home.
