Delano "Dale" Roberts

Delano "Dale" Roberts, 71 of Colbert, passed away May 5, 2017. He was the son of the late Andrew Jackson & Beulah Belle Roberts; he was also preceded in death by brothers, Daner Roberts, Frazier Roberts and Melvin Roberts; sister, Barbara Sanders. Mr. Roberts was avid in Gardening. He was also a member and former president of Broad River Coon Hunters Association for 20 plus years, worked for Napa Auto Parts, 20 plus years with Anderson Auto Parts and Owner of Colbert Lawn Service.
Funeral services are Monday May 8, 2017 11:00am at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Reggie Vaughn officiating. The family will have visitation at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The interment will be in Colbert Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Chuck Roberts, Dwayne Roberts, Heath Tatum, Robbie Collier, Clint Cook, Brent Roberts and Ronald "B.J." Fowler. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeff Roberts, Jamie Roberts, Kyle Roberts and Fred Holman.
Survivors include: Wife, Cathy Blair Roberts; children, Jeff (Tina) Roberts of Colbert, Jamie (Teri) Roberts of Hull, Kimberly Cole of Colbert and Kristie Fowler of Comer;brothers, Tommy Roberts of Colbert and Earl Roberts of Comer; grandchildren, Kyle and his wife, Hannah, Collin, Abby, Gavin, Gailey, Gracyn Belle, Awbrey, Ellee, Riley, Ramsey, Owen and Olivia and great grandchildren, Slayde and Sutton.
