Debra Vinson

Debra Diane Vinson, age 71, passed away peacefully at High Shoals Health & Rehabilitation on August 10, 2024.

Debra was born on March 15, 1953 in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Buford Roberts and June Walker.

Debra loved her family, friends, pets, and enjoyed listening to music while dancing, singing, and cooking.

Debra was a paraprofessional educator in Walton and Oconee County Schools. She enjoyed working with special education students and never gave up on helping her students and other teachers achieve their goals.

She made herself available when others were in need. 

She chose to be a part of the solution and not the problem in all aspects of her life. She was very grateful and thankful for the opportunities to help others.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents and sister; Rhonda Holland.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Chambers (Scott Chambers) of Bishop, Georgia and Brianna Chambers of Atlanta Georgia. She will be deeply missed and she was loved beyond words. She showed loved while here with us and that love surrounds us all now.
