Deborah Ann (Debo) Thomas

Deborah Ann "Debo" Thomas, age 56, died at Athens Regional Medical Center on December 31, 2014.
Born December 12, 1958, in Athens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Hamilton and Martha Ann Wells Thomas. Debo was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Hubert Homer and Elizabeth McRee Wells of Watkinsville, Georgia, and Cordis Bennett Leo and Annie Parham Thomas, of Danielsville, Georgia.
Debo graduated from Oconee County High School. During her life she lived in Watkinsville and Danielsville. Most recently she resided in Danielsville in her father's home. Debo was a sentimental, kind person who loved her family and was generous with her friends.
Survivors include her aunt, Virginia Wells of Watkinsville, and first cousins Caroline Wells Pence, Susan Wells Brodrick, Ann S. Haagen and Henryetta Smith Beck. She is also survived by longtime special friend Chris "Bird" Rogers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 11:00am, at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
