Deborah McDaniel Shelnutt

Deborah McDaniel Shelnutt of Jefferson, Ga passed away Thursday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband, Danny Shelnutt; son, Stephen Taylor (Natalie); daughter, Shelby Hammock; sisters, Sandra Gregory and Darinda Waters; brother, William McDaniel; grandchildren, Trevor Taylor, Braxton Taylor, Caitlyn Bahena, Emily Bahena, Jared Bahena, Bryson Bahena, Bradley Bahena, Sophie Mullens; nieces and nephews, Charles Gregory, Christy Gunter, Cindy Shehee, Craig McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, Lemans Waters, and Jason Brown.

Debbie was a very loving wife, mother,sister and Nana. She had a heart of goldand would do anything to help someone in need.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 6, 2019 from 2-3pm at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Athens. A memorial service will be at 3pm on the same day at the funeral home. Rev. Dexter Sims will be officiating.
