Dawn Joy Peters

Dawn Joy Peters, 60, of Comer, died Monday, November 9, 2015.
Born in Gladwin, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ellyn Mae and the late Earl Chester Peters. Ms. Peters enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Jewel Giesbrecht.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Dianne Wade, Shawna Renee (Chad) Gary and Desire Janielle Tate; three sisters, Dottie Peters, Denise (Verle) Unruh, and LeaErla (Sam) Sheffield; two brothers, Steve (Kim) Peters and Sam (Susan) Peters; and five grandchildren, Christian Marcus Wade, Ethan Tryce Grindle, Mitchell Trenten Wayne Grindle, Landen Seth Grindle and Marshal Liam Tate.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11 AM at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Rev. Jeff Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at the Comer City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her four oldest grandsons, her son-in-law Chad Gary, and Gage Gillespie. The family will receive friends Friday, November 13, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
