David William Pierce

David William Pierce, 79, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the residence of his son in Crawford, GA. Born in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late John and Ruth Wilcox Pierce. He was a former resident of Naugatuck, West Virginia prior to moving to Lexington, GA. David served in the United States Marine Corp as an electrician. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Evans and grandson, Jonathan Sheppard. Survivors include his children: Michelle Bryant, Bridgit Vance, Cindy Waller, Shirley Sheppard, Sandra (Tim) Rister, Celeste Pierce and Jim (Katie) Pierce; twenty four grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2PM at 301 6th Ave., Huntington, WV 25701. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
