David Thomas Harvill

David Thomas Harvill, 62, of Statham, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born on June 30, 1958, in Athens, Georgia, to Thomas Rowe Harvill, Jr. and Martha Holloway Harvill.

David was a resident of Appalachee Home and attended Bethabara Baptist Church in Statham, Georgia. He was a kind and gentle person who loved his family and Jesus. He enjoyed drawing and watching Andy Griffith and Star Trek reruns on TV.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Rowe Harvill, Jr., and his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Rowe Harvill, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Martha H. Harvill; one brother, William P. Harvill, sister-in-law, Nancy Harvill; one nephew, Joshua (Mary) Harvill of Florida; one niece, Katherine (Jonathan) Mattox of Kentucky; one great niece, three great nephews, and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Joshua Harvill officiating.
