David Henry Bentley

David H. “Milkman” Bentley, 73, passed away on January 21, 2019 after an extended illness.

A native of Washington, GA, he had lived in the Lexington and Crawford area for the past 48 years.  David was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Frances Bentley, an infant sister, Gracia and nephew Brian Bentley.

He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Jason and Jenn Bentley of Crawford; brother and sister in law: Ben and Beverly Bentley; ex wife, Georgeann Bentley; step daughter: Melissa Mikoliza and step granddaughters: Candy Lynnette Simmons and Chelsea Kayla Mikoliza.  He is also survived by a niece, Beverly Ann McCrary (Rob) and nephew, Ben Bentley, Jr (Marci).

At David’s request, there will be no service.  Private family interment will be in Sandy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
