David Thomas Beck Jr., 63, of Athens, died Monday, June 16, 2014. Son of Christine Beck, and the late David Thomas Beck Sr. David was a native of Athens, and had served in the United States Army Reserves.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his daughters, Keri Hurst (Penn) and Katie Beck, and grandchildren Averee Hurst, Sydney Hurst, Tyler Hurst, Courtney Hurst, and Liam Mims.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 18 from 7-9 at Lord and Stephens, East. A graveside service will be Thursday, June 19, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Cook officiating.
