Daniel "Dan" Hardy, 80, of Bogart, Ga. died Tuesday March 23, 2010
Mr. Hardy was a son of the late William Preston and Asalee Timms Hardy. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army. Mr. Hardy was a little league Coach in Oconee County , He served on the Bogart City Counsel for several terms and was a volunteer with the Bogart Fire Department. He was a member of the Bogart Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 25, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Albert Vaughn and Rev. Fred Teeter officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 24, 2010 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his Wife, Doris Hardy, of Bogart, Ga. Son, Ricky Hardy, Athens,Ga. Son and Daughter in Law, John and Rose Hardy, Danielsville, Ga. Daughter and Son in Law Deana and Jason Cosper, Grand Prairie, Texas. Grandchildren Kevin Hardy, Derrick Hardy, Christine Hardy Hall and husband Brandon, Larry Hardy and wife Crystal and Jonathan Hardy and wife Megan, Dylan Cosper, 5 Great Grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
