Daniel Edward Van Buren

Daniel Edward Van Buren, 52, of Athens, GA, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 after a long battle with brain cancer. He was born in Rochester, NY, as the son of Robert Nicholas Van Buren and Suzanne Schuler Van Buren. Mr. Van Buren was the District Manager for Goodyear Commercial Tire Division. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Rogers Van Buren; son, Michael Van Buren; daughter, Tabitha Petty; mother, Suzanne Van Buren ; grandchildren, Jazmine and Jordyn Petty, Derek Jr. and De'Andre Williams; brothers, William, Robert, and Thomas Van Buren; sister, Deborah Ann Armstrong and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel.
