Cordero O'Kelley

Athens, Georgia

With extreme sadness, Cordero “Cord” O’Kelley of Athens, GA passed away on June 7th, 2023, with his family by his side. He was known by many as thoughtful and courageous while also being the funniest guy in the room. Cord’s sense of humor and kind soul could turn anyone’s day around. He loved traveling with his wife, family dinners, and belly laughs with friends.

Cord attended Oconee County High School and later IBEW Local 613 electrical apprenticeship where he graduated as a Journeyman Wireman Electrician. He worked for Inglett & Stubbs for ten years before moving to Murfreesboro, TN in 2022.

Cord is survived by his beloved, Morgann O’Kelley, his mother Nicki and stepfather Chris Hardin, his father Tony and stepmom Aimee Castro, his brother Elijah and sister-in-law AJ O’Kelley, three sisters Camille, Brenna, and Marlo Hardin and step siblings Laurel and Justin Castro. Additionally loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
