Clyde Brown “Brownie” Teasley, Jr. 76, of Bogart, Georgia, died on December 1, 2022. Born in Elberton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clyde BrownTeasley, Sr, and Laura Elizabeth Brown Teasley. Clyde served in the US Army, graduated from the University of Georgia, and in 2008, retired from Kia Motors America. He spent his retirement playing golf, traveling, enjoying time with his lifelong friends at the Elbert County Fish and Game Club, and he greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his siblings Grace Dudley, R. J. Teasley, Shirley Moore, and Bertha Cail. Clyde is survived by his wife of 23 years, Marinelle Teasley; children Lee Davis (Sandra), Chris Davis (Annette), and Cheryl Breissinger; and four grandchildren, Lori Anderson (Kevin), Steven Epps, Sarah Davis, and Emma Davis. He is also survived by his nephew, Doug Cail (Annette) of Lisle, Illinois, his niece, Annette Cail, of Reading, Mass., Sara Petty (John) of Bennington, NE, and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, at Lord and Stephens WEST, 1211 Jimmy Daniel Road, Watkinsville, Georgia, 30677.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 11:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia, 30114.
