Clifford "Cliff" James Shepstone, 78, died February 4, 2018.
A native of Turtle Creek, PA, he was a son of the late Leon Clifford and Anna Virginia Prentice Shepstone. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rita Samuels and a granddaughter, Emily Craig-Parker.
Cliff has lived in Athens since 1995 after moving from Irwin, PA, where he was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #236. While in Athens, he was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 10AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Sue Shepstone; children, Vonnie Shepstone Craig-Parker of San Diego, CA, Stephen Shepstone and wife, Jacqueline Bakker-Shepstone of Athens, and Sean Shepstone of Athens; sister, Lois Shepstone Ford of Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren, Rachel Craig-Parker of Wildomar, CA, Samuel Craig-Parker of San Diego, Riley Shepstone, Brittany Shepstone, Brennan Shepstone and Kate Shepstone, all of Athens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Make A Wish Foundation.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
