Clarence Wesley Nalley, 75, of Jefferson passed away on October 1, 2023. Born on July 5, 1948, he was the son of the late Roy Wesley Nalley and Jesse Qualls Nalley.
Clarence was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He drove a gas tanker for over 40 years, acquiring the CB handle “Truckn’ Man”. He was as passionate about the trucks he drove as he was about his career.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Elizabeth Hunsinger; brother, Jimmy Nalley.
Survivors include his daughter, Carrie Watson (Mark McKinney); brothers, Roger Nalley, Steve Nalley, Mike Nalley (Shelby); nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:40 PM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home and the evening prior from 6:00 PM to 8: 00 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their gratitude toward Bristol hospice for their compassion and care during their time of need.
