Clara Elizabeth Hopkins

Clara Elizabeth Hopkins, 92, of Athens, Georgia, passed away, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Quiet Oaks Healthcare. A native of Greensboro, Georgia, Clara was born on June 4, 1932 to late the Clifton and Linnie Elizabeth Payne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Coy Payne, Clarence Payne, Ellis Payne, Lois Rainey, Doris Moon and Leonard Payne. She worked as a supervisor at Hometown Manufacturing. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Paige Hopkins Mitchell and Marie Lindsey; brother: Michael (Terri) Payne; sister: Marie Whitley; grandchildren: Jake Pintar, Jay Lindsey, Kimberly Lindsey and Josh Lindsey and several great and great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:30PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Union Point, Georgia.
