Clara Cain Dooley

Clara Cain Dooley, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Jefferson, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Cain and Bertha Smith Cain. Mrs. Dooley had worked at Family Life Enrichment and retired from the Oconee County School System. After retirement she was known as Nannie to the many children she baby sat.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Joyce and Robert Turnbull of Watkinsville; grandchildren: Jeff (Donna) Turnbull of Watkinsville, Mike (Teresa) Turnbull of Nashville, NC, Salinda (Dale) Rogers of Bishop; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Athens Heritage and Pruitt Hospice for care given to Nannie during her time with them.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pruitt Hospice, 1751 Meriweather Dr Suite 1A, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
