Chuck Marsh

Charles “Chuck” Lester Marsh, 76, died February 9, 2024.

Born May 28, 1947, Chuck was the son of the late Charles Albert and Carrie Alice Wheeler Marsh. Chuck was a twenty-two-year veteran of the United States Army Reserves in the supply depot, retiring as a sergeant major from the Department of Defense. Chuck was successful in the military and later as a student. He earned his Master's degree in Trade Industrial Education from the University of Georgia, where he was fondly remembered by his professors, Dr. John Scott and Dr. James Rosebrook. Chuck attended Forest Heights Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Rev. Clay Crews officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 pm and following the service.

Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Ruth Elaine Marsh; cousin, Johnny Wheeler of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are many dear friends, including Barbara and Fred Thomas and their son Wesley.
